adidas Originals Pharrell Williams Tennis Hu shoes are definitely one of the most famous premieres of 2017! We can’t forget the earlier fruitful collaboration of the adidas brand with Pharrell Williams, but it is this model that is the first fully signed by artist name! The nickname "Hu" from the name should not be a mystery to both fans of the brand and Pharrell. It is a homage to humanity and a kind of equality and lack of division between races. This is exactly the kind of symbolism we had a pleasure to meet in NMD's "Human Race" collection. adidas Pharrell Williams Tennis Hu sneakers can be described as a successful attempt to combine tennis shoes with running shoes. Looking at the rich archive of our brand, we see models such as adidas Stan Smith and less known adidas Forest Hill. However, brand designers wouldn’t be themselves if they didn’t try to combine tradition with modernity. So here we have a seamless upper formed as a "sock" with perforated stripes or Primeknit® technology from which it has been woven. The lacing system is also innovative, which is an integral part of the upper. The final result is a combination of lightness, fit and stability. Strong reference to the aforementioned models - adidas Stan Smith and adidas Forest Hill was most noticeable in the first adidas PharrellWilliams Tennis Hu package from May 2017. They had distinctive colours - white with green and white highlighted with yellow. The package, which was prepared for us by adidas x Pharrell Williams duo, reminds us of a single word - "colour". The colours are intertwined and contrasted both on the upper and the sole. The shoes have a logo known from earlier designs created with Pharrel - on the heel and on the sole and the "Hu" logo on the label. An insert is not accidental as well - its design is inspired by reflexology, which as you can see is an inherent part of Williams projects.
